As a staff editor for INMA from 2002-2004 and later as a contract editor from 2015-2019, I edited, co-edited, or authored more than 20 strategic reports (most ranging from 30-75 pages in length) about trends in the news media industry.
Topics ranged from traditional (reader engagement, the evolving newsroom) to leading edge at the time (the impact of voice technology on media). Readership included INMA members in 70+ countries, and individual reports were available for purchase by news media companies, executives, and marketing teams.
Exploring the Newspaper Readership Gender Gap, one of my more provocative reports, was even quoted by news outlets in English and in German! (A small thrill, but exciting nonetheless since I’m normally the one accustomed to doing the quoting.)
